My tryst with the world of poetry began in the cursed year 2020 when a lost a friend of mine to Covid-19. As I witnessed her funeral pyre and the flames engulfing her, a sense of acute dejection, and pain gripped me hard. I wanted to scribble down my pain and it was then that I started finding solace in poetry. Since then, I have been writing poems about every incident in my life that leaves a mark in my mind. My father had been detected with Dementia in 2015. Since then, his vision and his thoughts are ‘blurred’. The title of my first book, ‘Blurred Musings’ is a dedication to his spirit who still has the ardour to indulge in his musings.
